In January 2023, Portal Construction requested a full installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services across both the warehouse and office block. This project, completed within a 12-month timeframe to ensure opening for Networld Sports’ future. The development allows Networld to operate from one facility and in house the range of 10,000+ products including, fitness, home, garden and leisure equipment. The project has ensured that it has experienced rapid growth which creates many employment opportunities for the local area surrounding.
Project Background
Completed in Wrexham, Wales, Networld sports has a close relationship to the infamous football club, Wrexham, AFC, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny. The formation of Networld Sports began from the CEO buying a cricket bat for £60, which lead him dealing with suppliers and selling to friends and family. Staffordshire FA has also developed a partnership with the company, offering best rates and service.
