Project Scope

Developing all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The project scope included the installation and integration of Heating, Ventilation, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Building Management Systems (BMS), DALI Lighting, Power, Data, CCTV, and Fire Alarm systems. This extensive restoration project was executed over a three-year period, ensuring thorough and consistent maintenance throughout.

Project Background 

Constructed in 1797, is renowned as the world’s first skyscraper. This architectural marvel was initially designed as a steam powered Flaxmill and remained in operation in this capacity for nearly a century. Today, this historic building has been restored and repurposed, serving as a versatile venue for a wide range of events. The restoration and repurposing of the Flaxmill Maltings have had a substantial economic impact on the local area. This influx of jobs has provided a boost to the local economy, fostering growth and development within the community.
